Mark Eric Lagerstrom, Sr.

Mark Eric Lagerstrom, Sr. 69 of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, March 21, 2021 at his home. He was a native of Fort Knox and a member of St. James Catholic Church. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and received two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star. He volunteered for the VFW and worked at Fort Knox Civil Service. Mark loved hunting and fishing and was a devoted grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Connie P. Lagerstrom; one son, Mark Eric (Natalya) Lagerstrom, Jr. of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Jennifer (Ron) Waldorf of Elizabethtown; three brothers, Leander A. "Butch" (Shirley) Lagerstrom, Jr., Charles Edward "Eddie" (Barbara) Lagerstrom and Rex Paul Lagerstrom; five sisters, Judith Lagerstrom (Alan) Schaub, Paula Susan (Robert) Sullivan, Cynthia Karen (Bob) Lagerstrom, Maria A. (Ron) Lagerstrom and Mary "Annie" Lagerstrom and three grandchildren, Taryn Waldorf, Jordyn Waldorf and Ryan Waldorf. A Memorial Service will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Pat Dolan officiating. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
