Carolyn Thomas Gray, 85, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021 in Louisville. She was born on April 23, 1935, in Elizabethtown to the late Garland Thomas Sr. and Mary Lucille Nall Thomas. She was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Louisville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph Harold Thomas, Charles Thomas, Francis Gene Thomas and Garland Thomas Jr. and a daughter, Debbie Gray Harper. She is survived by three sons, Larry (Gail) Gray of Shepherdsville, Randy (Vicki) Gray of Glendale, and Terry (Maria) Gray of Cox's Creek; two sisters, Wanda (Lee) Plank of Louisville and Joyce Thomas of Elizabethtown; a brother, Kenneth (Sharon) Thomas of Bardstown; eight grandchildren, Jennifer Fogle, Amanda Stopher, Shane Gray, Alicia Suter, Terry Harper, Brittany Bogard, Candice Gray and Zachary Gray; eight great grandchildren, Elizabeth Fogle, Michael Fogle, Jada Hughes, Jaggar Boone, Jackson Boone, Isaac Harper, Nicholas Florio, Lila Grace Riggs, Amelia Riggs, Ryder Taylor, Levin Taylor, Beck Taylor, and Tyler Gray; two great great grandchildren, Aliza and Barrett Hughes. The funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Kirby Rust officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
