Thomas Scott Hearne, 31, of Owensboro, Kentucky, formerly of Cecilia, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2021. Thomas was born to Scott and Madge Hearne in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. He was a 2008 graduate of Central Hardin High School, and attended Georgetown College. He was an avid University of Kentucky basketball fan, and particularly enjoyed following former Wildcats in the NBA. Thomas Scott is survived by his parents, Scott and Madge Hearne; siblings Carter and Anna Hearne all of Cecilia, Kentucky; maternal grandparents, Tom and Jean Everett of Maysville, Kentucky; paternal grandparents, Billy and Barbara Hearne of Poplar Grove, Kentucky; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and never-ending winter weather, the family will have a private memorial. A celebration of Thomas Scott's life will be held in the spring. As an expression of sympathy donations may be given to a charity of your choice, or to Special Olympics, which Thomas Scott supported as a volunteer.
