Donnie D. Sherrard, 59 of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Baptist Health Hardin. He was a native of Hardin County and was the owner and operator of a lawn care business. Donnie was an Elite 100 for trapshooting and had a heart of gold. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Sherrard. He is survived by his parents, Charles and Chris Sherrard of Rineyville; one brother, Jerry (Brenda) Sherrard of Upton and a nephew, Josh (Casey) Sherrard. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Shaun Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
