Delta Avery Fulks, 98, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, January 24, 2021 at her residence. She was a native of Cash and an active member of Severns Valley Baptist Church since 1948. She was a longtime member of E'town Women's Club, NARFE and was an election poll worker in Elizabethtown for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert W. Fulks; a son, Mark S. Fulks; a son-in-law, James Maples; her parents, Luke and Edith Avery and a sister, Claudine McCugh. She is survived by one daughter, Marjorie A. Fulks Maples of Elizabethtown; two sons, Henry J. (Coleen) Fulks of Bardstown and Michael A. (Dotty) Fulks of Elizabethtown; a daughter-in-law, Sharon Fulks of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Wilella Copelin of White Mills and Jennie Patterson of Upton; four grandchildren, Bradley Fulks, Crystal Fulks, Andrew (Kristin) Maples and Ally (Chase) Greenwell and one great grandchild, Jett Greenwell. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Roger McCurry officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The service will be live streamed on Brown Funeral Home's Facebook page.
