Eva Maxine Yates, 92 of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at her home. She was a native of Hardin County, retired from Bowman Industries and was a 65 year member of Trinity Wesleyan Church. She was a wonderful companion, great cook, kept a clean house and loved. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Arch McKinley Stillwell and siblings, Bill, James, Henry, Irving, Hollis, Russell and Edna. She is survived by her husband of 76 years, Roy Eugene Yates; one sister, Mary Richie of Elizabethtown and a host of nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Justin Hilligoss officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
