William Charles Stolz

William Charles Stolz, 60, of Cecilia, died Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Baptist Health Hardin. Will has diligently served the people of this community and other for forty-two years in active retail management. He was an ordained minister who was happily and genuinely involved in not only the churches, but also the rallies and events he organized. These events were not limited to the evangelistic genre. Will was the co-founder of Hooray for Heroes which epitomized his love for military, law enforcement and first responders. He was very active with the youth in his free time, he coached and officiated youth baseball and basketball. Will's lifelong dream was realized in the founding of Mighty Warriors Men's Ministry. His focus was to teach people how to find and have a relationship with Christ. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Charles Stolz. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sheila Stolz; mother, Loretta Elizabeth Stolz of Decatur, IL; son, Jason (Jessica) Stolz of Richmond; three step-children, Brittany (Eric) Sherrard of Elizabethtown, Scott Young and David Young both of Cecilia; brother, Don (Peggy) Stolz of Decatur, IL; sister, Becky (Kevin) Hardimon of Herrick, IL; three brothers-in-law, Greg (Bridgett) Cox, Larry Cox, and Dennis Cox all of Eastview; and seven grandchildren, Blandon Frye, Ashton Young, Mikael Adkins, Katalina Adkins, Makayla Stolz, Skyler Stolz, and Caleb Wease. The funeral is at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Eastview with Rev. Mike McGrew and Rev. Dewey Keys, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Eastview Cemetery.
