Lilian Chris Talbert, 95, of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at Signature Healthcare. She was a native of England and served in the British Air Force. She volunteered at the American Red Cross Blood Center and was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church, where she was involved in the senior choir and bible study. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Talbert Jr.; a son, Kerry W. Talbert; her parents, Edward and Ellen Louisa Burt and eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by two daughters, Carole (James) Skloss of Mission, TX and Sharon (Bobby) Thompson of Elizabethtown; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Talbert of San Antonio, TX; seven grandchildren, Kendra Skloss, Kevin Skloss, Kristin Morrey, Joe Talbert, Rebecca Peterson, Bobby (Shanae) Thompson II, and Brent (Mollie) Thompson; and 12 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be Sunday, October 20, 2019 at 4 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Roger McCurry officiating. Visiation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
