Donald Ray Hart, 61, of McDaniels, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was born June 15, 1957 in Elizabethtown, KY, and retired from Flint Ink. He was a volunteer at HMH Cardio Rehab. He loved living the lake life, attending car shows, and most importantly spoiling his grandbabies. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arvil and Helen Thompson Hart. He is survived by his wife Gina; daughter, Erin Mabe (Cory) of Vine Grove; his grandchildren, Macy and Ella Mabe, Hailey Atherton, and Javen Adkins; sisters, Marquetta Lively (Mike), Barbara Hamilton (Brad), Mary Nally, and Regina Carlberg; many nieces and nephews as well as many close friends, nurses, and doctors who held special places in his heart. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Monday at Northside Baptist Church with Bro. Scott Kerr officiating. Visitation is from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be made to the Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates-Donate Life Kentucky or Kosair Charities in his memory.
