Mary Margaret McMillen Dick

Mary Margaret McMillen Dick, 80, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, November 19, 2018. She was a native of Hardin County, was a 1956 graduate of Elizabethtown Catholic High School, and retired from the Kentucky Department of Transportation after 32 years. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church where she was the former bookkeeper, sang in the resurrection choir, and was on the administration and cemetery committees. She was the treasurer of the Central Hardin Band Boosters for 12 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Dick; brother, Jack McMillen; sister, Carolyn Puckett; and parents, Leon and Bessie Larkin McMillen. She is survived by her son, James McMillen Dick (Amy) of Sonora; daughter, Julie Kathryn Hayes of Elizabethtown; brother, Leo McMillen of Lexington; sister, Anna Elizabeth Ryan of Elizabethtown; and six grandchildren, Kaylyn Marie Dick, Cameron McGaw, Chloe Hayes, Ellie Dick, Landon Hayes, and Addison Dick. The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Bill Fichteman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 2-8 p.m. Friday and continues at 9 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home.
