Callie Ruth Ives, 92 of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Sunrise Manor. She was born in Jelico, KY on June 6, 1926 to John E. and Mary Irene Faulkner. She was a member of Lone Hill United Baptist Church, the American Legion Ladies Auxilary and retired from GE. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Taylor Ives and six siblings, John E. Cooper, Jr., Rosetta Willard, Betty Lou Whobrey, Ida Jane Cooper, Homer Eugene Cooper and Hugh Hansel Cooper. She is survived by three brothers, Jim (Charlotte) Cooper of Cecilia, Rowland (Joyce) Cooper of Elizabethtown and Bob (Leda) Cooper of Cub Run; one sister, Priscilla Dean Shearer of Howardstown and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Malcolm Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
