Ethan Sidney English

On September 22, 2018, Ethan Sidney English, our beloved son and brother, was received by our Heavenly Father at the age of 16. Ethan was born on February 8, 2002 in Stillwater, OK. He attended Sangre Ridge Elementary in Stillwater. In Kentucky he attended middle school with Classical Conversations. He was a Junior at Central Hardin High School. He is survived by his parents Joshua and Robyn English, a little sister Elizabeth, and a little brother Elijah. Paternal Grandparents Joe English of Lawton, OK and Jewel English of Spring Branch, TX. Maternal Grandparents Kelly Roskam of Cache, OK and Rebecca Roskam of Cache, OK. Ethan was a force of nature. To say he lit up the room is an understatement. He commanded the room. He had such a quick wit that would leave you laughing for days. He liked to blacksmith and weld. He fashioned many cherished items for his sister and brother. He loved playing the piano and guitar. Oh, how we will miss the sound of his sweet music! He achieved the rank of Cadet First Sergeant for Delta Company in Central Hardin High School's JROTC program. He participated in drill team and rifle. He had plans to join the military and become a pilot. From a very young age, Ethan wanted to serve his country. Ethans greatest achievement was not one that he could claim credit. It was the accomplishment of Jesus Christ who took the punishment for our sins. Ethan was and is a firm believer in Jesus Christ as Savior. It is with great confidence I can say that Ethan is in heaven today. Our family rejoices that Ethan was and is secure in his salvation while he walked this earth. God works all things for good. You can have security in your salvation in your eternity by simply believing that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He was crucified as our substitute to pay for our sins, and that He rose again three days later conquering eternal death. This is His gift. We merely need to believe. Ethan believed, and we are so grateful. For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God not by works, so that no one can boast.
