Paul O. Bailey

Paul O. Bailey, 92 of Elizabethtown, went home to be with the Lord Friday morning, September 21, 2018. He was a native of Hardin County, a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church where he was an usher and class secretary for many years. He was a member of the Vine Grove Masonic Lodge #603 F & AM, served in the U. S. Army and retired from Transit Oil Company and Farming. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Kathleen Matthis Bailey; his parents, Everett W. and Beatrice Daugherty Bailey. He is survived by two daughters, Paula (Steve) Croston of Radcliff and Debbie (Wayne) Skaggs of Hodgenville; a grandson, Thomas (Dawn) Russo, a granddaughter, Amber (Bryan) Miller; three great grandsons, Carson Miller, Caedmon Russo and Aidan Paul Russo, one great granddaughter, Cali Miller and two sisters, Faye Matthis and Opal Ellis and his special friend, Jeannie Knight. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. There will be a Masonic Service Sunday at 5 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Memorial Park.
