Frank W. Fowler

Frank W. Fowler. 69, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, September 14, 2018 at Helmwood Healthcare. He was a native of Hardin County, a member of St. Clare Catholic Church, worked for the U.S. Department of Commerce for 7 years, and retired from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as a land surveyor. He was the owner of Fowler Surveys, taught land surveying classes at the University of Cincinnati, and was the past president of the Association of Kentucky Land Surveyors. He was a vocalist and guitarist for the Fowler Boys Band. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Anna Williams; a brother, Stephen Charles Fowler; and parents, Charles K. and Elizabeth Gardner Fowler. He is survived by three brothers, Michael (Margaret) Fowler of Corydon, IN, Gerald Fowler of Elizabethtown, and William (Vicki) Fowler of Louisville; a sister, Norma (Tom) Bauer of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at St. Clare Catholic Church with Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Monday and continue at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home. A prayer vigil will be held at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
