Kay Ruth Davis Wright, 80, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at her residence. She was one of twelve children born to the late John Lee and Getty O. Pritchard Davis. She was a native of Shelby, North Carolina, was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church, and retired after 25 years from JcPenny in the Fine Jewelry Department. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Burl Wright. She is survived by her son, Christopher Lee Wright of Elizabethtown; granddaughter, Kaylee Briana Wright; and her special companion, Lyla. Cremation was chosen by the family.
