Norma McClellan Shehan

Norma McClellan Shehan, 82, of Glendale, passed away August 21, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Jefferson county and attended Atherton High School. She graduated from Cornell University, was a member of Alpha Phi Sorority, and also a longtime member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Norma lived and worked in Denver, CO as an interior designer for Desks, Inc. She returned to Kentucky in 1968 when she married Ted Shehan. She formerly served as Vice Chairman of Hardin Co. Republician Party. She was also a longtime member of Glendale Homemakers and the Hardin Co. Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Thelma Reinhart McClellan; her husband, Ted Shehan; one son, Patrick M. Shehan; and one grandson, Kevin Lee Shehan. She is surviveed by two step-children, T. Hunter Shehan II (Jana) of Bloomfield and Beverly (Dwight) Richardson of White Mills; five grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. The funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday at St Ignatius Catholic Church in White Mills. with Father Ben Brown officiating. Burial follows at Big Spring Cemetery in Bloomfield, KY.
