Thomas Gilbert Cooper

Thomas Gilbert "Coop" Cooper, 70, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Indiana. He was a native of Red Bluff, California, and retired from the United States Army where he served in Vietnam and was a scout. He was the co-founder and owner of Lost Pounds Pet Center and Forever Homes for Paws in Radcliff. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Betty Dobson Cooper. He is survived by his wife, Norma S. Cooper; two children, Thomas Randall (Christine) Cooper and Anne (Mike) Davidson all of Elizabethtown; two step children, Steven (Josie) Scovill of Broomfield, Colorado, and Dawn (Damon) Hacker of Elizabethtown; a brother, Roger Cooper of California; two sisters, Mary Moffet of Oklahoma and Loretta Knapp; five grandchildren, Haley Cooper, Dalton Cooper, Donovan Cooper, Megan Brown, and Katie Brown; and four step grandchildren, Ian Scovill, Talon Scovill, Kyla Norris, and Allyson Norris. Cremation was chosen by the family. Memorial Contributions in Coop's memory can be made to Forever Homes for Paws, 129 Shelby Ave. Radcliff, KY 40160.
