Ida "Bee" Larkin Cowley, 92, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Hardin County and was the owner of a trucking company. She loved her community, was active in business and politics, and was an avid UK fan. She was a loving wife and a wonderful mom. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Cowley; parents, Archibald and Mallie Lawson Larkin; and sister, Evelyn Scott. She is survived by two children, Harold Lee Cowley and Cathy L. (Ben) Riggs all of Elizabethtown; granddaughter, Emily Thomas; two great granddaughters, Sadie Jo and Cheyenne and one great grandchild on the way. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown City Cemetery.
