Edward A. Nall, Jr., 68, of Elizabethtown passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Hosparus Inpatient Healthcare Center in Louisville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Minnie Lutz Nall, special brother-in-law Dennis Ryan and close friend & father-in-law Wilbur Ryan. Eddie was born March 25, 1950 and was a retired licensed electrician and maintenance manager after 32 years combined service with Hardin County Schools and Hardin County Government. He enjoyed “plucking pigeons” (his slang for consulting and side jobs), farming part time and spending time with his beloved family and grandkids who deeply loved their “Pappy.” He also took great joy in buying, repairing and trading farm equipment. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Diane Ryan Nall; a son, Bradley (Kristen) Nall and three grandchildren, Ava, Ian and Max Nall; four sisters, Brenda (Allen) Waters, Judy (David) Veirs, Carolyn Burton and Kimberly (Curtis) Chappell; a brother, Marty (Marissa) Nall; mother-in-law, Annie Ryan; three sisters-in-law, Celia (Mike) Thomas, Karen (Dale) Crewz and Pat (Steve) Allen; and three brothers-in-law, Rick (Debbie) Ryan, Tommy (Suzanne) Ryan and Roger (Dana) Ryan; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Eddie chose cremation. A Celebration of a Life gathering will be held from 2-5pm on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Tunnel Hill Baptist Church and Fellowship Hall. At the family’s request, donations in his memory may be made to Hosparus Health, 3532 Ephraim McDowell Drive, Louisville, KY 40205 or Tunnel Hill Baptist Church, 734 Tunnel Hill Church Road, Elizabethtown, KY 42701.
