Dillard Wells, 69 of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. He was a native of Clay County, KY and a member of Glendale Christian Church. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and retired after 40 years from Ft. Knox Civil Service where he worked in Deployment-Reployment of Soldiers. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Edith Allyon Wells and two brothers, George Wells, Jr. and Rayburn Wells. He is survived by his wife, Laconda Logsdon Wells; one son, Jason Dillard (Barbara) Wells of Columbus, OH; one daughter, Erin Nicole (Jason) Buckles of Glendale; two step sons, David (Holly) Hodges and James Hodges both of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Lucy (Bob) Ash of Glendale and Mauhee (Bill) Edmondson of Elizabethtown; and four grandchildren, A. D. and Nolan Wells and Emerson and Tessa Buckles The funeral will be Saturday at 12 noon at Glendale Christian Church with Bro. Mike Bell, Bro. Rich Lloyd and Bro. Adam Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Glendale Christian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue after 9 a.m. Saturday at Glendale Christian Church.
