Kenneth Eugene Cooper, of Oakland, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was a native of Louisville, attended Crosspoint Church, was a self employed Mason and was a loyal friend and brother. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and a hard working provider for his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Eugene Cooper. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Bonnie Mills Cooper; three children, Sarah Mae Forrester, Kenneth Levi Cooper and Elizabeth Jewel Key; his mother, Dorothy Mae Cooper; one brother, Douglas Lee Cooper and four grandchildren, Hayden Levi Forrester, Hallie Beth Forrester, Alexis Jewel Key and Kenneth Seth Key. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. Eastern Time at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Cranor officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
