Sue Atherton Seale, 81 of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Helmwood Healthcare Center. She was a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church, where she taught preschool Sunday School for many years and retired from Ft. Knox Civil Service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence D. and Bess R. Atherton. She is survived by two loving daughters, Robyn (Bruce) Evans and Laurie (Dale) Souleyrette; one sister, Clancie Speck and one brother, Larry Atherton. Included in her legacy are five grandchildren, Jennifer (Chris) Lohden, Jeff (Holly) Evans, Clare Souleyrette, Kyle Souleyrette, and Kate Souleyrette, along with four great grandchildren, Evan Lohden, Ashelee Lohden, Trey Evans and Sawyer Evans. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Compton officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
