Bonnie Lou Sego Cruse, 82 of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, April 12, 2018 at her home. She was a native of Bonnieville and a longtime member of Walnut Street Baptist Church. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, KY Baptist Women's Choir and the Eastern Star in Louisville. She retired from teaching in 1988 after 36 years, 30 of those years were with Jefferson County Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Sego; her mother and step father, Jeannette and Caleb Reffett and a brother, Calvin Thomas Harrison. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, David Cruse; a brother Alexander Harrison of FL; three sisters, Katherine (Dan) Saunders of OH, Holly (Richard) Ault of OH and Christine Reffett Arnold of Elizabethtown; and her nieces and nephews, Michelle Harrison, Teresa Ann Menzil, Anthony T. Harrison, Rebecca and David Street, Jimmy and Jason Harrison. The funeral will be Friday at 12 noon at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff.
