Carolyn Ann Dupont Lyons, 73 of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, March 22, 2018 at her home. She was a native of Hardin County and was a longtime active member of St. James Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Andrew and Doris Ann Dupont and a brother, Robert (Wendy) Dupont. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Johnny Lyons; three children, Kathy Lee (Thomas) of Smith Grove, Karen Lyons of Jacksonville, FL and Jason Lyons of Elizabethtown; two grandchildren, John Thomas Lee and Elizabeth Ann Lee and one step grandchild, Justin Brock; four brothers, Larry (Sharon) Dupont of Jacksonville, FL, Charles (Alice) Dupont of Condord, NC, Joseph (Debbie) Dupont of Simpsonville and Wayne Dupont of Elizabethtown; six sisters, Mary (Danny Hodge of Elizabethtown, Becky Gleason of Springboro, OH, Gail (Mark) Hunt of Elizabethtown, Jean (Mike) Lewis of Louisville, Joan (Larry) Mayes of Chapel Hill, NC and Donna Dupont of Fisherville and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home.
