Donna Kaye Hart Barrett, 54, of Elizabethtown, passed away Sunday, February, 4, 2018 at her home. She was a native of Hardin County, a senior care giver, and a member of Elizabethtown Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Churchill and Nellie Pence Hart. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Michael P. Barrett; three siblings, George Hart (Judy), Jimmy Hart (Pam), and Nancy L. Hart Lane (Randall) all of Elizabethtown; nieces and nephews, Louis D. Hart, Brian Mitchell Hart, Emily L. Hart, Kevin D. Hart, Angela Kay Hart, Dana L. Fox Sears, Michael G. Lane, Randall K. Lane, Abby Collier, and Isaiah Collier; great nieces and nephews, Alen M. Fox, Christian J. Fox, Ashleigh N. Fox, and Ashley Pumphrey (and her son, Weston Michael Fox); her mother and father-in-law, John and Sue Barrett; her sister and brother-in-law, Sherry and Brian Collier of Lexington; and numerous friends and cousins. The funeral is Friday at 11:00 a.m at Brown Funeral Home with Brother John Board officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Thursday from 3:30-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus.
