Dolores Glennon Perry

Dolores Glennon "Mimi" Perry, 95, passed away peacefully at her home at Tender Touch Senior Living on February 1, 2018. Born August 31, 1922 in Cub Run, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Ressie Reams Logsdon. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 56 years, James T. Perry as well as her brother, Leon Logsdon. She was a longtime parishioner of St. James Catholic Church and was a member of the last Howevalley High School graduating class (1940). Dolores was an excellent seamstress and for many years shared her talent as a Hardin County 4-H leader. In addition, she was a valued member of the Lincoln Trail Homemakers Club for more than 50 years. She was an excellent cook, enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and was honored as one of Hardin County's Best Cooks. She is survived by her children, Brenda Sue Clark (Harold) of Elizabethtown, Judy Wilshear (Terry) of Naples, Florida, and Stephen Jay Perry (Agatha) of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Deana Sue Harned Snowden, Beth Harned McNullty, Mark Goulet, Sara Clark Kuhn, Wade Perry, Ashley Perry-Baker, and Whitney Perry Flynn; 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church in Elizabethtown. Burial will be at the St. James Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 4-8 p.m. and continues after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
