Juanita L. Johnson, 86, of Cecilia, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Breckinridge County, and the oldest living member of Grandview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Eugene Johnson; daughter, Sue Johnson Benham; parents, Homer and Sylvester Ora Pierce Powell; and brother, Walter Powell. She is survived by three sons, Ronnie (Wanda) Johnson of Cecilia, Darrell (Rita) Johnson, and Mark (Libby) Johnson all of Vertrees; son-in-law, Gary Benham; five grandchildren, Chad Benham, Shelley Johnson Comer, Missy Johnson, Scott Johnson, and Lance Benham; and two great grandchildren, Emma Jock and Laci Sue Benham. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Breeze officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Baptist Cemetery. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Saturday and continues after 10 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy make take the form of donations to Hosparus of American Cancer Society.
