Janis Ercella Carter Adams was born on September 4, 1945 in Warren County, TN and died on September 18, 2017, which was also her wedding anniversary. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Powell and Susie Carter; her twin sister, Jenis; a baby brother, Jerry; an older brother, Bill; and her husband, Clarence Adams. She is survived by her sister, JoAnn; her daughter, Susie Urbano; son-in-law, Andrew Urbano; and grandson, Ben Urbano. She was a member of The Gospel of the Kingdom Church in Elizabethtown. The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at The Gospel of the Kingdom Church, 204 Howell Court in Elizabethtown with Brother Chris Urbano officiating. Burial will follow in Gospel Kingdom Campground Memorial Cemetery in Shepherdsville. Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home and continues after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
