Polly Stillwell Underwood, 71, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, September 4, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Larue County and was retired from E'town Sportswear. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank James and Eva Etta Brewer Stillwell, by four brothers, Delma Stillwell, Franklin Stillwell, Jr. Dolly Stillwell and Marvin Stillwell and by a sister Thelma Underwood. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Garland Underwood, one son, Johnny Ferrial Underwood of Elizabethtown, one daughter, Tammy Underwood Sullivan (Douglas) of Radcliff, one brother, Syndal Monroe Stillwell of Elizabethtown, one sister, Wanda Jean Whitlow of Mt. Sherman, three grandchildren, Johnathon James Underwood, Robert Dalton Tucker and Raven Sullivan and three great grandchildren, Jayden James Underwood, Brantley James Underwood and Macy Foley. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
