Anni C. Engl Fields, 92, of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Kensington Center. She was a native of Salching, Germany where she served in the German Army. She was a retired telephone operator, and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Junior" Fields; one step son, Charles Fields; and her parents. She is survived by two daughters, Irene Bauer of Germany and Linda (David) Hawks of Glendale; son, Gunther Engl of Germany; step son, Richard Glen Fields of Virginia Beach; two grandchildren, Jurgen Weckmueller and Claudia Bartles; two step grandchildren, Dawn and Christina; two great grandchildren, Julia and Carina Weckwueller; and two step great grandchildren, Tyler and Shelby. The funeral will be 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with Rev. Ben Brown officiating. Burial follows at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
