Marilyn Wilkins Speck, age 84, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 20th, 2017. Marilyn grew up in Bowling Green, married Royce in 1958 and they enjoyed 47 years in Elizabethtown, before moving to Louisville to be near their children and grandchildren. Marilyn was preceeded in death by her parents, Fred and Edna Wilkins; and her sister and brother- in-law, Barbara and Dan Lamont. She is survived by her husband, Royce; her daughters, Karen (Dave) Love and Laurie (Greg) Allen; her brother, Joe (Frances) Wilkins and five grandchildren, Chelsea (Alex) Radler, Drew Love, Macie (Drew) Davis, Caleb Love, and Chloe Allen. Marilyn was an elementary school teacher for 28 years, and especially treasured the last 24 at Valley View in Elizabethtown. Visitation will be 11am-1pm and Funeral Service at 1pm Thursday at Crossroads Baptist Church, former Severns Valley Sanctuary in Elizabethtown.
