Alice Generose Mulhall

Alice Generose Osborne Mulhall, 88 of Elizabethtown, died Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at her home. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of St. James Catholic Church. She was a 1946 graduate of Rineyville High School and was a retired Office Clerk at Vulcan Materials and Osborne Brothers Quarry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mulhall, her parents, Leslie and Louise Generose Osborne and her siblings, James Osborne, Paul Osborne, Marion "Mac" Osborne, Mary Louise "Sis" Stith, Bill Osborne, Pete Osborne, Aggie Dunn and Anne Spears. She is survived by three sons, Kenneth (Margaret) Mulhall of Denver, CO, Phillip (Celeste Shawler) Mulhall of Wilmore and Gary (Gail) Mulhall of Elizabethtown; one daughter, Barbara (Tony) Taylor of Louisville; one brother, Bernard J. Osborne of Elizabethtown; one sister, Sue Crady of Elizabethtown; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. John Catholic Church with Rev. Ben Brown, Rev. Wayne Jenkins and Rev. Robert Osborne officiating. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and continue after 9 a.m. Saturday at Brown Funeral Home. There will be a Prayer Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
