Linda L. Beville

Linda L. Beville, 88, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Kensington Center. She was a native of New Lyme, Wisconsin, served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, a member of Hardin Memorial Hospital Auxilary and the American Legion Post 113. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church where she taught CCD and was a member of the rosary guild. She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Alice Grizzel Scholze; two children, John Byron Beville and Mary Louise Barcenes; five brothers, Victor, Orlando, Carl, Cecil, and Patrick Scholze; two sisters, Dawn Virginia Scholze and Erma Pearson; and two grandchildren, Nathan Williamson and Angelina Devers. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James Damon Beville, Jr.; one son, James Damon (Lisa) Beville III of St. Paul, KY; three daughters, Theresa Ann Beville of St. Paul, MN, Angela Marie (James) Williamson of Elizabethtown, and Carol Christine Beville of Radcliff; one sister, Betty Rasch of Tomah, WI; nine grandchildren, Jesse Beville, Melinda Williamson, Ashley Beville, Justin Beville, Adam Beville, Jacob Beville, Bethany Devers, Christina Devers, and Jonathan Devers; and six great grandchildren, Mary, Alyssa, Emily, Damon, Jaden, and Jackson. The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Rev. Shayne Duvall officiating. Burial follows at St. Joseph Cemetery in Leitchfield. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and continues after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
