Joyce Elizabeth Jorgensen, 85, of Elizabethtown, died Friday, May 5, 2017 at her home. "There's magic in a Mother's touch, and sunshine in her smile. There's love in everything she does to make our lives worthwhile. We can find both hope and courage just by looking in her eyes. Her laughter is a source of joy, her works are warm and wise. There is a kindness and compassion to be found in her embrace and we see the light of heaven shining from a mother's face. My mom is a never-ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune. Thank you mom for allowing me to be who I am and for loving me unconditionally. You will always be with me. You were the strongest woman I know and every day I aspire to be as strong as you. I love you." Tammy She was a native of Sagola Township, Michigan and a musician. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Jorgensen; and parents, John and Sigrid Kallaak Fisher. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Chuck) Curry; and her grandson, Xander. Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
