Ilse Ursula Harman, 87, of Elizabethtown, died April 8, 2017 at Brookdale Richmond Place in Lexington. She was a native of Zempelburg, West Prussia (Germany) and a longtime resident of Elizabethtown where they settled in 1982 and retired several years later. She was an active member of the Elizabethtown Women's Club, MOAA, NARFE and other civic activities in Elizabethtown and Fort Knox. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dale Harman; her parents, Paul E. Richter and Ottilie A. Gatzke Richter and six siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Karen Hurt and her husband Timothy Hurt of Lawrenceburg and Andra Harman-Wrogemann and her husband Henning Wrogemann of Hermannsburg, Germany; one sister, Sigrid Richter of Germany; six grandchildren, Arien Wainscott of Frankfort, Mariah Hurt of Los Angeles, Cassidy Hurt of Lawrenceburg, Julia Wrogemann of Freiburg, Germany, Sarah Wrogemann and Ellen Wrogemann both of Hermannsburg, Germany and three great grandchildren. A Graveside service will be Monday, April 17, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Condolences may be expressed online at www.brownfuneral.com.
