Bertha Mae Gray

Bertha Mae Gray, 75, of Elizabethtown, died Monday, February 13, 2017, at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Tyler, TX and retired in 1993 as an LPN after 20 years. She attended First Christian Church, and was a devoted wife, mother, and nana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy Wade Gipson and Odeal Foster Gipson; a brother, James Gipson; a daughter, Patricia Lynn Huggins Hostia; and a son-in-law, Gary Bell. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Thomas W. Gray of Elizabethtown; two sons, Tim Huggins of Madisonville and Daniel (Rebecca) Huggins of Elizabethtown; a daughter, Kimberly Bell of Elizabethtown; a brother, Billy Gipson of Madisonville; three sisters, Patsy Buchanan of Madisonville, Brenda Jarvis of Graham, KY, and Carolyn Gossett of Bremen, KY; and one granddaughter, Cassidy Bell of Louisville. The funeral is at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Kiger officiating. A graveside service is at 1 p.m. Monday. February 20, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-Central in Radcliff. The visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and continues after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
