Margie L. Hicks Seagraves, 92 of Cecilia, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Signature Healthcare of North Hardin Health and Rehab. in Radcliff. She was a native of Hardin County and retired in 1988 from Ft. Knox Civil Service. She was the oldest member of Franklin Crossroads Baptist Church, where she held many positions during her 74 years of membership, especially with Vacation Bible School. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ray H. Seagraves; her parents, Arvil Hicks, Sr. and Mayme Hart Hicks; a grandson, Bruce Elliott; a sister, Nina Atcher and a brother, Arvil Hicks, Jr.. She is survived by two children, Brenda Seagraves Wolfe of Elizabethtown and Ronnie (Rita) Seagraves of Glasgow; a sister, Roberta (Hubert) Wells of Louisville; two grandchildren, Becky (John) Meadors and Josh Seagraves; six great grandchildren; seventeen great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
