Netella Kay Davidson

Netella Kay Davidson went to be with the Lord on 8 December at her home in Melbourne, Fl following a three year battle with liver disease. She was born in Stephensburg, and was a loving and caring soul that always looked at the bright side of life, so much so that her doctors nicknamed her their Lemonade Lady. She served 37 years as a civil servant at Fort Knox, starting as temporary clerk and end her career as an Information technology manager. She was passionate about taking care of soldiers and their families. Following civil service career she was employed by a defense contractor for three years supporting the Army’s Recruiting Command, a position she thoroughly enjoyed. She was preceded in death by her mother Edith Dupin. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Jim, daughters Lisa Flynn (Doug) and Dorothy Davidson (Josh Fox) of Cincinnati, OH, granddaughters Gabrielle and Erika Flynn, granddaughter Serenity Fox of Cincinnati, OH, her Father Norman Dupin of Melbourne, Fl , sister Robynn Heffer (Lance) and Brother Jackie Dupin (Carol) of Elizabethtown, nieces Lindsay Painter of Nashville, TN, Calley Heffer of New York, NY, and nephew Adam Dupin ( Christy) of Louisville, KY. A celebration of her life a will be held on Wednesday the 14th of December at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, 306 College Street, Elizabethtown,Ky. Visitation will be from 10 until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Fisher House, No Kid Hungry, the Mayo Clinic, or the individual’s favorite charity.
