Ann Jeanette Young, 84 of Glendale, died Friday, November 19, 2016 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. She was a native of Washington, DC, a member of Grace Presbyterian Church, the Glendale Homemakers Club and the Glendale Lions Club. She was formerly the receptionist for WLOS TV in Ashville, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G Young. She is survived by three daughters, Pamela Young of Elizabethtown, Laurie Swann of Black Mountain, NC and Jeannie Young of Mt. Sterling; five grandchildren, Jeremiah (Becky) Swann, Nicholas (Niki) Swann both of Black Mountain, NC, Whitney Swann (Michael) Harvey and Zeke Ward of Ashville, NC and Rachel Ward of Vancouver, WA and four great grandchildren, Ellen, Julia, Maggie and Jude Swann. The funeral will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the old sanctuary of Glendale Christian Church with Bro. Mike Bell and Rev. David Atkisson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
