Dorothy Marie Kapfhammer, 88 of Elizabethtown, died Friday, November 18, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was a native of Hardin County, a graduate of Lynnvale High School and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church. She was the former owner of Kapfhammer's Frame Shop, a dispatcher for EPD and was a bus monitor for the Hardin County Schools. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald W. Kapfhammer and a sister, Eunice Irene Hager. She is survived by her husband, William F. Kapfhammer; three sons, Mike Kapfhammer and Greg Kapfhammer both of Louisville and Jon Kapfhammer of Elizabethtown; three sisters, Elsie (Jeff) Scott of Glendale, Evelyn Claggett of Eastview and Oma Dell (Bill) Rounsaville of Eastview; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Don Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
