Donald William "Duck" Leemaster, 61 of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, November 10, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Chicago, IL, a member of Memorial United Methodist Church and worked for Petro in Glendale. He was a member of the American Legion Post #113, the Sons of the American Legion and the American Legion Riders. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Francis Leemaster and Marjorie Thurston. He is survived by his wife of 8 years, Karen Myers Leemaster; two step daughters, Sarah Redmond of Brandenburg and Shannon Goldsmith of California; one brother, Harry Leemaster of Illinois; two step grandchildren, Cassandra Redmond and Hannah Russell and one step great grandson, Jaxxon Messer. The funeral will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Don Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and continue after 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of Contributions to the American Legion Post #113.
