Lovell Keith "L.K." Tapp, 91, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at the Helmwood Healthcare Center. He was a native of Elizabethtown and served in the army during World War 2. He was also the owner of L.K. Tapp and Sons. L.K. was preceeded in death by his parents, Arley Omer Tapp and Emma Williams Tapp. He is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Hazel Tapp; three sons, Thomas, Steven, and David Tapp, all of Elizabethtown; one daughter, DeVere Lewis, Elizabethtown; five grandchildren, Keith, Kevin, Michael, Nicholas, and Megan; and four great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Ryan, Chad, and Jazz. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Brown Funeral Home at 2 pm. Burial will follow at Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation begins Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 4 pm until 8 pm, and resumes after 11 am Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
