Donald Howard Allen, 74 of Elizabethtown, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Signature Healthcare. He was a native of Hardinsburg and a member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force and retired from Hardin Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Howard and Anna Ross Lightfoot Allen. He is survived by one brother, Dr. Charles R. ( Brenda) Allen of Lander, WV; one sister, Vicki Allen (Zackie Dale) Johns of Elizabethtown; eight nieces and seven nephews. Visitation will be from 10 to 12 noon Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research.
