William Elmer Hill, 82 of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Signature Health Care Center. He was born in Menifee County, KY and lived most of his life in Hart County. He was a member of Knoxes Creek Baptist Church and was a Farmer. He was a regular attendee of Wesley Hilltop House Senior Citizens Club, was an avid church goer and listened to WJCR Radio. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ora Mae Close Hill; his parents, James R. and Sallie Cole Hill and siblings, Frank Hill, Betty Rock, Sam Hill and James Hill, Jr. He is survived by two brothers, John Hill of Horseshoe Bend, Ark. and Steve Hill of Glendale; four sisters, Irene Notaro, Pauline Campbell and Jonell Downs all of Elizabethtown and Roxie Grimes of Indianapolis, IN. The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Hill and Rev. Dwayne Mollison officiating. Burial will follow in Knoxes Creek Cemetery in Linwood.
