Russell K. Brown, 50, of Elizabethtown, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. The Hardin County native was formerly an Elder at Community Baptist Church in Elmendorf, TX and was Pastor at Sovereign Grace Baptist Church in Elizabethtown. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn L. Roark Brown. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Sherilyn Strange Brown, one son, Phillip Brown of Elizabethtown, one daughter, Erin Hardin and her husband, Aaron of Radcliff, his father, Robert A. Brown of Elizabethtown, one brother, Roger K.Brown and his wife, Deloris of Ekron, one sister, Rachel Broskey and her husband, Alex of Elizabethtown and one grandchild, Declan Hardin. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Fellowship Baptist Church in Radcliff with Pastor Kyle T. White officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation is 4:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Brown Funeral Home and after 10 a.m. Thursday at the church. Expressions of sympathy may go to Sovereign Grace Baptist Church.
