Wendell Langley

Wendell Baize Langley, 89, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, April 23, 2016 at his residence. The Hardin County native was a WWII Army veteran and a member of Northside Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Lynnvale High School and owned an automotive parts store. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wesley and Ola Van Meter Langley and by a daughter, Sharon Musselwhite. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Talley Langley, two sons, John Wendell (Tammy) Langley of Glendale and Richard Scott Langley of Eizabethtown. a step-daughter, Donna (Jimmy) Coogle of ELizabethtown, one brother, Burton Langley of Kissimee, FL, one sister, Betty Carolina Campbell of Elizabethtown, seven grandchildren, Jessica Musselwhite, Johnathon Musselwhite, Richard Langley, Jason Langley, Samantha Langley, Mary Langley and Jacob Langley, two step grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer) Coogle and Matt (Heather) Coogle, and six great grandchildren, Emily Langley, Karsyn Langley, Josie Langley , Allysa Coogle, Alexis Coogle and Peyson Coogle. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Brown Funeral Home with Dr. Kevin Roberts and Michael Coogle officiating. Burial will be in Hardin Memorial Park. Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may go to Hosparus of Central Kentucky or Northside Baptist Church.
