Helen Frances Hutton

Helen Frances Hutton, 89 of Elizabethtown, died Thursday, March 31, 2016 at her home. She was a native of Mercer County and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church for over 57 years. She was a secretary at Ft. Knox Civil Service and spent 2 years in Yokohama, Japan. She was a former member of the Elizabethtown Women's Club and the Youngers Women's Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maj. Ret. Max P. Hutton; her parents, John and Sarah Milburn Adkinson; a sister, Margie (David) Tobin and a niece, Patsy Tobin Mattick. She is survived by a son, Bradley P. (Sherry) Hutton of Elizabethtown; a sister-in-law, Beckie Hicks of Albuquerque, NM; two nieces, Martha (Lee) Gentry of Harrodsburg and Judith (Tom) Childress of Danville; a nephew, Sam Gentry of Harrodsburg; a great nephew, David (Kathy) Childress of Mechanicsburg, PA and a great great nephew, Gavin Childress. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Spring Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.
