Ruby Lillian Jacobs, 87, of Elizabethtown, died Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Kensington Manor Nursing Home. She was a native of Indiana and a member of First Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Jacobs, her parents, Vernon and Edna Mae Rearden Nugent and a brother, Elvin Nugent. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Lee (Ed) Ditto and Monica Lynn (David) Mouser both of Elizabethtown, two brothers, Leroy (Janice) Nugent of Tell City;, IN and Edward (Connie) Nugent of Grayson, KY, three sisters, Lavetta (Wayne) Jackson, Doris (Jim) Pritchard and Violet Nichols all of Hawesville and two grandchildren, Blake Ditto and Kayla Ditto. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Kiger officiating. Burial will be in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is 4:30 to 8 p.m. Saturday and after 9:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. There will be no visitation on Sunday. Expressions of sympathy may go to First Christian Church.
