Odis "Toby" Norman, 88, of Cecilia, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Helmwood Health Care. He was a native of Kennett, MO and a member of Cecilia Baptist Church He was a WWII and US Army veteran with the Horse Cavalry and owned and operated Toby's Mobile Home Service and Green Acres Mobile Home Park and other businesses. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Elizabeth Topper Norman and his parents, James Wesley and Beulah Cunningham Norman, two brothers; Paul and James Norman, three sisters; Catherine Burroughs, Margie Moore and Leoda Roberts. He is survived by 2 daughters, Pamela G. (Paul) Wimsatt of Cecilia and Terri L. (Chris) Diehl of Elizabethtown; a son, Ronald K. (Lynn) Norman of Lilburn, GA, eight grandchildren; Carrie Brown, Wesley, Thomas, and Andrew Norman, Tiffany Jones, Caitlyn Alexander, Nicholas and Anna Diehl, seven great grandchildren; Micha and Aedyn Norman, DJ, Carter, Isabella Robinson, Alonza Brown and Abigail Wimsatt. The funeral will be Saturday, February 13 at Cecilia Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Parker officiating. Burial will be at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation is at Brown Funeral Home Friday from 3:30-8:00 pm and continuing Saturday after 10:00am at the church.
