Mary Jeanne White, 90, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Helmwood Health Care in Elizabethtown, Ky. She was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, and had lived over 37 years in Orange Park, FL where she was a faithful member of St. Catherine’s Roman Catholic Church until moving to Elizabethtown in 2012, where she attended St James Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA, and was an avid bridge player. Mrs. White is survived by three children: Clifford White (Beth) of Elizabethtown, KY, Kimberly Meadows (Jesse), and Jaynie Prete ( Mark) both of Danville, VA. Six grandchildren: Jennifer, Michael, Katie, Christopher, Nicholas and Maggie. Three great-grandchildren: Preston, Sophie and Teddy. The family wishes to thank her special caregivers and sitters Sarah Drane, Toni Tuttle and Mary Jo Young with whom she spent so much time and grew to love in her last months.
